My name is John Merz from Hatfield, MA (out in Steve Terrien territory) and I have been a member of the club for a few years. I was looking through some old slides and came across a couple BMW shots I took back at the ISDT in Dalton, MA. in 1973. I scanned the pictures and I thought they might be interesting, I guess these German riders are sort of the almost original GS riders. Unfortunately I think the pictures are a little blurry (I guess my camera of the day couldn't stop the speeding BMW) so I will leave it up to you if some day you choose to use them, I won't take it personally if they're not up to the requires quality. I attempted to spruce them up with Photoshop.
I did a search on the internet and came up with the following site with BMW ISDT bike info. I also saw them referred to as a ISDT 750 in several articles.
